  Samsung Digital Camera NV Series and i6 PMP wins Gold Award at iF Design Award 2007

Samsung Techwin has for the first time won the Gold Award at a prestigious international design award show – the iF Design Award 2007.

International Forum Design Hanover, in Germany, the hosting company of the iF Design Awards 2007, announced on 15th March that Samsung Techwin’s premium product NV series (NV7, NV10 & NV3) and the digital convergence camera i6 PMP had won the Gold Award.

The iF Design Awards, a representative European design award renowned, together with the IDEA (Industrial Design Excellence Awards) in the USA, for its international prestige, evaluates design, quality, material suitability, innovativeness, environmental friendliness, functionality, convenience of use, and beauty to select the best designed products.

The award winning Digital Camera NV Series is the first product group in Samsung’s premium brand.

The Samsung NV series won high scores for functionality and user interface as well as for colour - the luxurious royal black - and refined image.

The digital convergence camera i6 PMP won the Gold Award for its diverse digital convergence functions including an MP3 player and PMP, and also for its grip, which is designed with a 17-degree wave that enables the user to hold it securely.
